Kyocera PV modules.
Features
Kyocera solar modules are a reliable, virtually maintenance-free power supply designed to convert sunlight into electricity at the highest possible efficiency. Kyocera began researching photovoltaics in 1975 and has installed thousands of systems throughout the world since 1978. These systems are ideal for charging storage batteries to power remote homes, recreational vehicles, boats, telecommunications systems and other consumer and commercial applications.

Using breakthrough technology perfected by Sharp’s nearly 45 years of research and development, these modules use a textured cell surface to reduce reflection of sunlight, and BSF (Black Surface Field) structure to improve conversion efficiency. An anti-reflective coating provides a uniform blue color and increases the absorption of light in all weather conditions. Common applications include office buildings, cabins, solar power stations, solar villages, radio relay stations, beacons, and traffic lights. Ideal for grid-connected systems and designed to withstand rigorous operating conditions, Sharp’s NT-175U1 modules offer the maximum usable power per square foot of solar array.

Under the Sunmodule brand, we offer superior quality, high performance solar modules designed in a wide variety of applications. All products have an industry leading power tolerance of +/- 3%, backed by a 25-year power warranty. The high performance monocrystalline cells used in the Sunmodule are sealed in transparent EVA (ethylene-vinyl-acetate) between impact resistant tempered glass and a durable TPT (tedlar-polyester-tedlar) backsheet. The innovative module design incorporates new audible locking, IP65 protection rated, quick connectors for fast, reliable installation wiring. New double-insulated cables approved for use in ungrounded source circuit systems.
The Sunmodule is certified to the stringent safety and design requirements of UL1703 and IEC 61215. All US Sunmodules are produced in the ISO 9001:2000 certified Camarillo, California facility. SolarWorld offers end of life module recycling for all Sunmodules, further demonstrating our long-term commitment to protecting our environment.
