Real wiring flexibility of your solar array is finally here because of the MX60’s wide range DC input, up to 150 VOC. The ability to step-down a high voltage solar array to a low voltage battery can save you money by reducing the size of wire required and making the installation simpler and faster. Our smart multistage recharging process ensures your batteries are recharged efficiently and gently to prolong battery life and achieves the highest possible performance.

All of the MX60’s status information is displayed on the large built-in 3.1" (8 cm) backlit LCD screen. Monitoring your solar array’s performance is easy because of included data logging system that automatically records the last 64 days of system operation. OutBack’s network communication system allows your MX60 to communicate with the rest of your OutBack system, eliminating multiple product interaction problems and allowing remote monitoring via the OutBack MATE display up to 1000 feet / 300 meters away.

The CM charge regulator is especially for use in small solar systems where no load disconnect is required, as in yachts, caravans, etc. The charging regime provides best battery treatment at reasonable cost. It is a temperature-compensated PWM charging method.

The CML series is a sophisticated solar charge regulator family for low cost applications. The electronic circuit is equipped with a microcontroller that provides high-efficiency charging technology together with a number of outstanding status display, warning and safety functions. The temperature-compensated three-stage PWM charging method (boost - equalization - float) is now adjustable to sealed and vented lead-acid batteries. The new version also allows an either SOC or voltage controlled low voltage disconnect function. The battery status is clearly indicated by three LEDs. As the first controller on the market in this price range it comes with an acoustic low voltage load disconnect pre-warning feature.

The CX series is a sophisticated solar charge regulator family with exceptional features in this price range. Beside a perfect PWM regulation with integrated temperature compensation the controllers provide extraordinary display, programming and safety functions. The battery state of charge is clearly displayed with a bar chart, as well as energy flows from and to the battery and the load status (e.g. overload, load short circuit). The deep discharge protection function can be set up to three different modes: voltage controlled, SOC controlled or adaptive (fuzzy logic). Acoustic warnings are built in, as well as a programmable nightlight function. The CX also provides a built-in excess energy management function which means that in combination with especially designed loads (e.g. Phocos Solar Refrigerators/Coolers SF32E, SF50E) it is possible to make use of excess energy which would be lost otherwise because of the overcharge protection of the battery. A better utilization of the solar system is the benefit. The compact case design is prepared for DIN rail mounting (mounting device available as an accessory).

The PL series of charge controllers offer complete control over the charge cycle and various information about current and past performance. PL regulators have a built-in low battery disconnect switch. In addition, the versatile event controller can switch power on or off according to criteria set by the user. This allows the PL to do extra tasks such as switching a light on at night or keeping a water tank full by operating a pump when needed. Regulation can be done in both series and shunt modes. Other features include backup generator control and charging a second battery. Display shows battery voltage, charge current, ampere hours in and out of battery, load being drawn from the battery and charge status. Information is available for the past 30 days - so even if the user doesn’t remember what happened, the regulator will. With the optional PLI interface, the user can access the regulator from a computer or via modem. Data can be read or settings adjusted.

    The C Series, including the C35, C40 and C60, is the benchmark of our charge controller lineup. The C35 and C60 are field configurable for 12 and 24 VDC operation. The C40 may be configured for 12, 24, or 48 VDC operation. All can be used as a charge, diversion, or load controller and come with a standard multi-color charge status LED.

    All three of these fully solid state, microprocessor-driven controllers are UL and cUL listed. Whatever the charging source, a C Series controller is sure to meet your DC controller needs.

    The ASC is a solid-state charge controller for use in power systems with currents up to 16 amps.
